Hi Steven:
I am pretty new to online marketing. I joined WA in January 2018
Of all the tools you mention here, what are your top choices? Are any of these available as plug-ins through WA?
It sounds like most of these will give you a trial period before you buy. What are we looking at for yearly rates on the ones you recommend?
And finally, there are a lot of tools available through WA. In your opinion, does WA have enough tools within their system or will the serious marketer eventually have to have these tools?
Anyway, you have given us a very thorough outline and I was not aware of many of these.
Thank you!
All of the tools mentioned are good depending on your needs. I don’t think any are available as plugins for WordPress though.
The prices for each vary and they are available on each website, almost all offer free trials so try them and see if they are worth the price.
The tools available on WA are all you really need, the recommended ones here are for when you advance enough to fine tune.
Thanks for the comment Christopher!
Hallo there,
You must be quite an experienced guy with online stuff and I think you can help me out with a problem that I have been having for weeks now.
I have been been using semRush for a good while until someone told me that ahrefs is far better than SemRush and I should switch because of competitor analysis in terms of backlinking.
He is a guy I trust and an expert as well but I don’t know why I doubt this advice. What would you advice me to do?
ahrefs.com has a free 7 day trial, give them a try and see if the data they provide suits your needs better.
I don’t use either service so I can’t really give an authoritative recommendation either way, sorry.
Thanks for the comment Dave!
Hey i really enjoyed this article, there is a lot of good information here. I have not heard of a lot of them programs but i may have to check them out because they seem pretty useful I do use a couple of them right now but i still got a long way to go and a lot more to learn. Thanks for the good article!
Good to hear you got some useful information out of the article.
Thanks for the comment Justin!
Interesting list. There are a few tools that I’ve never heard before so it’s worth checking them out. Just a question on email marketing. MailChimp appears to have restriction for affiliate marketers to use their service.
It’s quite a bummer as I think more than 50% of bloggers start out with this income model too. Do you have any other services in mind that allows affiliate marketing and still offer a free plan? Thanks.
Aweber has a free trial and it’s the only one I have used personally, but I don’t know of any that are free. I’m not familiar with MailChimps restrictions, I have never used that service.
Hope this helps a little.
Thanks for the comment Cathy!
Thanks for all these tools to help us out. I’ve used a few of them before, but some others I’ve never heard of before in my life.
Like you said though a tool is only as good as the person using it — and you shouldn’t get a tool just to get it.
Only if it can help you become more productive and make task less confusing is when I think you should use one.
Agreed. Be picky with the tools you use, especially if they cost money. If a tool truly enhances your work and provides leverage toward your goals, it’s probably worth the expense.
Thanks for the comment Michael!
